How often should an item be tested and tagged?
How often an electrical appliance needs to be tested varies according to the workplace and the type of environment within that particular workplace.
- Construction worksites are considered a hostile work environment and need inspection, test and tagging every 3 months.
- Factories, workshops, places of manufacture, maintenance or fabrication require inspection, test and tagging every 6 months.

Visual and physical inspection
